Geoffrey is a local and has lived in the DMV his whole life. He was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland and attended college at Virginia Tech. After graduating, Geoffrey moved to Washington, D.C. and simultaneously started running marathons. His training routes consisted of exploring new neighborhoods and running each street until he got a feel for the area. Over the years, Geoffrey has explored large swaths of D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. A few years ago, Geoffrey moved to Arlington, Virginia and has since become intimately familiar with the surrounding communities. Geoffrey understand neighborhood dynamics, shifts in gentrification, and can see the forest for the trees.
